The Lake Forest School District 67 Board of Education approved the 2026–2027 District 67 budget last night during its September meeting.

Lake Forest, IL— The legacy of former Lake Forest Community High School (LFHS) English teacher and award-winning author Peter Ferry will be celebrated Sunday, July 12, when the film adaptation of his novel Old Heart screens at the Gorton Center at 2 p.m.

After reviewing community applications and conducting interviews, the Board has selected Mark Pickett to serve as an interim Board member through the next regularly scheduled Board election in April 2027.
